SELLOUT ARTIST OF THE YEAR
Angela Gheorghiu. The embodiment of ultimate glamour, celebrity and diva-ness for every wannabe crossover star, and all at the expense of musicality.
COMPOS(T)ER OF THE YEAR
Awarded to the composer whose 'music' would give best results sprayed directly onto crops.
Winner: Philip Glass, as demonstrated by the composer himself as a soloist in his own Music(less) (Tedium) In 12 (Very Long) Parts at the 2010 Brighton Festival
YOUNG BRITISH MEDIA DOLL (PUPPET)
Faryl 'Faryl' Smith
SOUNDDRECK OF THE YEAR
Awarded to the film music sounding just like almost every other film soundtrack in recent memory only more so.
Winner: Thomas Newman's soundtrack for 'Revolutionary Road', which inexplicably also won the 2010 Classical BRITS 'Soundtrack of the Year'.
CRITICS' AWARDS
Winner of the popular Tom Service Lookalike Award is Rhydian
Media Pop Tart of the Year: Tom Service
