Privacy & Security

Unlike virtually all other websites, musoc.org does not want, collect or hold any information at all about you or your habits; there aren't even any of those tracking devices known euphemistically as cookies. (The only necessary exception is the Anti-Pop mailing list, which of course needs your email address if you subscribe.)

Throughout the site there are no scripts, pop-ups, images or any other security risks to your computer. Musoc.org is the fastest-loading, least intrusive website on the whole internet!

Philanthropy

Musoc.org is a private, campaigning, educational, not-for-profit voluntary organisation. Content & policies are determined by volunteer editors.

All information provided on this site is both well-researched and free. But if you're feeling philanthropic, a small donation would always help research. Please initially email gro.cosum@ofni.

Please note that all email addresses displayed on this site need to be typed in by hand to your email program. Neither clicking nor copy-and-pasting will work, because of musoc.org's anti-spam strategy.

For general enquiries, including free advice on any aspect of exploring, understanding or enjoying art ('classical') music (regardless of prior knowledge), or for confidential or private communication, please email gro.cosum@ofni. You should receive a reply within 24 hours.

General or specific comments on any article or feature on this site can be made at any time by emailing gro.cosum@srettel. Musoc.org may publish your comments for public consumption or delectation, either on the Letters page, or elsewhere; if you wish them to remain private, please mark your email 'Not for Publication'.

Media enquiries can be made to either of the above addresses. Musoc.org conducts all communication via email only, though you can expect a reply within 24 hours. If you need a same-day response, please label your message 'Urgent'.

In the unlikely event of website functionality problems, please email gro.cosum@ofni. Unicode (UTF-8) has been used for character set encoding on all pages to ensure the accurate display of diacritics. The site has been designed for maximum reliability, speed, compatiblity and clarity across all browsers and platforms.

Contributions

If you'd like to write an article, please email gro.cosum@ofni. Musoc.org gratefully accepts unsolicited articles, essays etc, but if you'd like to discuss or check anything beforehand, please get in touch.

You can write under your real name, an assumed identity or (if appropriate in tone and style) anonymously as a musoc.org editor.

Needless to say, you must be sympathetic to musoc.org's aims, as stated in About musoc.org on the homepage and the FAQ, and strongly dislike pop 'music' as defined here.

All writing must be factually accurate, well-considered and rational, but (or perhaps therefore) musoc.org will not publish articles attempting to vindicate or supporting pop 'music' or culture.
